Mediterranean Sea
Lastly, I want talk about the Mediterranean Sea. Or also know as Nostrum to the Romans. It was called Nostrum by the Romans because Nostrum means our land and the Romans basically owned it. The Mediterranean Sea was a major waterway used to get from one place to another. It allowed trade and other things. Back then trade was a very important thing that almost everyone did. Trading back then was like our modern day shopping. Instead they paid the people in items instead of dollar bills. They could also give the people gold because it was very common. You could also take baths in the sea but it wasn't very common because it is a salt water body of water.
