The Nile River
I would first like to talk about the Nile River. The Nile played a huge roll in Ancient History. It supplied the Egyptians with many things such as Food when the Nile flooded, a way to get from one place to another, and supplies for building. Around every September for us, the Nile River would flood and give the Egyptians great land for farming. When the flood stopped they would plant all different kinds of foods so that from then until the next flood they would not starve. Also, the Nile provided great water ways so that the Egyptians could travel to different temples and locations. They could also travel to kush. Lastly, The Nile gave the Egyptians great supplies for building structures. The Nile gave them lots of mud, and the mud was used for mud brick. Then the mud brick was put together to make a house or temple. They also found limestone and sandstone on the side of the Nile.
